Yes. Rear window damage from vandalism, a break-in attempt, weather, or road debris is covered under comprehensive auto insurance. Auto Renu verifies your coverage and files the claim for free — most Hercules customers pay $0.
Auto Renu stocks rear windows for the most common vehicles in Contra Costa County. Call before noon for same-day service. For less common vehicles, we source the glass overnight and install next morning. We serve all of Hercules and surrounding Contra Costa County cities.
Can I drive with a broken rear window? It's unsafe and illegal in California. Broken tempered glass can fall further and shattered edges pose a hazard. Call Auto Renu for same-day replacement.
Will the defroster still work after replacement? Yes. We reconnect and test the defroster grid on every rear window replacement at no extra charge.
Do I need to go to a shop? No. Auto Renu is 100% mobile — we come to your Hercules home, office, or any location you park.
How long does it take? 30–60 minutes. Drive-away time is 1 hour after installation.
